Soft EFX provides a variation and less transition notes.
To achieve the vocal effect popularly used by Cher, users would select the Hard EFX setting. Users can add or subtract scale notes to create distinctly different results and can set the Type of Effect they want. This particular feature works by limiting each note to an exact pitch, stripping out any variations and then forcing instantaneous transitions. A pop up menu for selecting vocal type is featured and provides users with 4 choices, Soprano, Alto/Tenor, Barritone/Bass and Instrument (any sound that is not a voice). To work effectively in the Auto Tune Vocal Effect feature, the AutoTune EFX VST 1.0 program needs to work out what pitches are being sung by pitch detection, that’s if the program knows the range of the vocal part. To customize settings, in the case of complex chord progressions or modulations, users have the option of setting up their own custom type scales or choosing to use their host programs to automatically process virtually any vocal line.
Users need only select a desired effect type from the program’s easy to use interface, set the key and scale of their track, and the Auto-Tune EFX VST 1.0 plug-in will automatically process the vocals. The program allows users engaged in computer based audio recordings an automatic method of pitch correction. Auto-Tune EFX is a software instrument program that corrects and processes pitch and pitch quantization, which can stand alone or be hosted as a plug-in with VST and RTAS applications.
